90 Second Keto Bread Recipe
So sometimes, we want to teach you how to make sandwiches, burgers, dips… but we feel a little guilty and avoid it because we don’t have a bread recipe to lead you back to. But after lots of research, we can now proudly say those days are over! This 90 second bread recipe will change your keto experience forever!
Top Tip: Make sure you have a microwave for this one. If you don’t, then it probably won’t work.
THIS RECIPE YIELDS ONE 2 SLICE 90 SECOND KETO BUN
- 3 tbsp almond flour
- 1 pinch onion powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- In a microwave-safe dish, combine the almond flour with the parmesan, shredded cheddar, sea salt, onion powder and baking powder. Whisk in the egg and oil until fully combined and then microwave for 90 seconds. Look for a puffed-up result in the microwave that resembles a sponge-like consistency.
- Heat butter in a skillet on medium high. Allow your 'bread' to cool for 2 minutes, then cut in half, horizontally, to form two thiner bread slices. Fry in a skillet until the bread is nice and toasty on both sides. Cool for a couple minutes before using for burgers or sandwiches.
